Synopsis:
James Dean falls in love with beautiful Pier Angeli, but to her mother , James Dean is an American with no manners or class, interested only in fast cars. Her mother manages to convince Pier that she is honor-bound to marry an Italian Catholic. So, while James is away in New York shooting a television show, to her mother's relief, Pier agrees to marry the Italian singer, Vic Damone.
When the shooting of Giant begins, Dean's passion for racing cars intensifies so much that Jack Warner, head of Warner Bros., emphatically forbids James Dean from racing - including speeding around the lot on his beloved Triumph motorcycle - until the final frame of Giant has been shot.
Dean acquires the fastest production sports car in the world - The Porsche Spyder and heads for the race in Monterey, anxious to hone his racing skills behind the wheel of the "Little Bastard". However, the journey ends in a tragedy...
